Rancho Palos Verdes 点灯仪式与冬季节12月4日至5日举行：真雪滑梯与夜间徒步同场
位于加州洛杉矶县的 Rancho Palos Verdes 市宣布，年度点灯仪式将于12月4日（周五）下午5时30分至9时30分在 Ken Dyda 市民中心（30940 Hawthorne Blvd）举行，冬季节于12月5日（周六）下午2时至8时在同一地点接续举行，两项活动均由市府与赞助方提供免费活动项目。
点灯仪式当晚，市民中心将迎来「今冬第一场雪」：家庭可玩真雪、坐雪橇滑梯，喝热可可与咖啡，听节日音乐、做手工，并见证大圣诞树与烛台（Menorah）点亮，现场还有假日快闪商店。
12月5日的冬季节上，市娱乐与公园部将在 Alta Vicente 自然保护区举办 guided 夜间徒步，在星空下听猫头鹰与昆虫鸣叫，之后围坐篝火喝咖啡、可可、吃烤棉花糖，听颂歌队演唱；孩子们同样可以玩真雪、坐冰雪滑梯。

Rancho Palos Verdes Tree Lighting and Winter Festival Set for December 4-5 With Real Snow and Night Hikes
The City of Rancho Palos Verdes, in Los Angeles County, California, announced that its annual Tree Lighting Ceremony will be held on Friday, December 4, from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Ken Dyda Civic Center, 30940 Hawthorne Blvd, with the Winter Festival following at the same venue on Saturday, December 5, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Complimentary activities are provided by the City and its sponsors.
On tree lighting night, families can enjoy real snow play and sledding, warm up with freshly brewed cocoa and coffee, listen to festive holiday music, join crafts, and witness the lighting of the large tree and Menorah, with a Holiday Pop-Up shop on site.
At the Winter Festival on December 5, the Recreation and Parks Department will host guided night hikes in the Alta Vicente Reserve, followed by bonfire pits with coffee, cocoa, and s'mores and music from carolers. Children can also play in real snow and sled down a slide made of ice and snow.
