环保署执法负责人走访怀俄明与科罗拉多：协助空军导弹设施环保合规
美国环境保护署（EPA）11月3日发布消息：环保署执法与合规保障办公室助理署长 Jeffrey A. Hall 与首席副助理署长 Craig Pritzlaff 近日走访怀俄明州与科罗拉多州，推动军事战备相关环保工作，并聚焦重大联邦案件的刑事环境执法。
在怀俄明州，两人参观了一处「民兵」导弹发射控制中心与导弹发射井，了解空军全球打击司令部在老旧导弹设施中保障导弹值班人员安全所面临的挑战，并就达到室内环境标准提供协助。Hall 表示：「我们通过帮助空军遵守有毒物质法规，保障驻守在导弹警戒设施中的空军人员安全，让我们的作战人员能专注于保卫国家。」

EPA Enforcement Leaders Visit Wyoming and Colorado to Support Military Readiness
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) said on November 3 that Assistant Administrator for Enforcement and Compliance Assurance Jeffrey A. Hall and Principal Deputy Craig Pritzlaff recently visited Wyoming and Colorado to promote military readiness and focus criminal environmental enforcement on major federal cases.
In Wyoming, they visited a Minuteman launch control center and missile silo to understand the challenges the Air Force Global Strike Command faces in keeping missileers safe in aging missile facilities, and to provide assistance in achieving compliance with indoor environmental standards. "We are keeping the airmen stationed in missile alert facilities safe by helping the Air Force comply with toxic substances regulations, and that allows our warfighters to focus on defending our country," Hall said.
Hall visited F.E. Warren Air Force Base, home of the Twentieth Air Force, which is responsible for U.S. intercontinental ballistic missiles, as part of EPA's commitment to partner with the Department of War. The visit focused on the Air Force's ongoing efforts to comply with the nation's environmental laws and address environmental hazards.
In Colorado, they participated in EPA's criminal enforcement attorneys' biannual training program, speaking on the administration's federal priorities, including using environmental laws to protect against foreign toxins. The training covered enforcement initiatives, civil and criminal coordination, Fourth Amendment issues, trial strategies, and significant appellate decisions, in support of Administrator Lee Zeldin's Powering the Great American Comeback initiative.
