CapMetro Announces Free Rides Across Its Network on Election Day, November 3
In Austin, Travis County, Texas, transit operator CapMetro announced that on midterm Election Day, Tuesday, November 3, rides will be free across its entire network, so Austinites who still need to cast a vote can ride to the polls at no cost.
According to the November 2 announcement, the free rides cover CapMetro's whole bus network and are intended to remove transportation barriers for voters. The offer applies only on Election Day, November 3, and riders can check routes and schedules through CapMetro's official channels.
